Should I Sell My Stocks?

Back in 2008 the news trucks were all over Wall Street.  Mom and Pop came home from work and saw nothing but massive losses to their investments and retirement accounts.

Like the Ebola virus and CNN , Fear gives a big ratings boost to the financial networks.  CNBC viewership is at record lows, a strong sell off in stocks is just what the doctor ordered.

In 2008 with stocks near recrod lows CNBC pro James Cramer told everyone to sell stocks and hide their money under a mattress for five years.  Had you done that you missed out on the biggest rally in our lifetime.

We may see further downside for stocks, but the long term trend remains up.  Even if stocks crash, they come back... as they have in the past.  If stocks crash and don't come back it's because we've entered the Zombie Apocalypse.  At that point money isn't going to matter a whole lot.

I'm not a financial planner.  I'm not a CNBC host.  But I will say this.  Stocks are attractive here, no matter what the pro's say.  But a good stock, with a great dividend yeild and you'll beat these hot  heads spewing fear on the networks on a long term basis.

So no.... unless you think the Zombie Apocalypse is upon us, I wouldn't be selling.
