February 23rd, 2023 Watch List

Markets closed lower for the 4th session in a row, with there S&P falling .16% albeit off the lows of the session. Asia markets closed in the red overnight while Europe indexes are mostly higher this morning. U.S. futures are pointing to a bounce, the Dollar and Gold are lower while Yields and Oil are higher.

And this is what UPB is reading this morning: https://www.optionmillionaires.com/morning-reads-205/

It was a choppy session on Wednesday, with stocks failing to hold that $400 handle on the SPY, trading down to $397, before finding a quick end of day surge to close off the lows. The Fed minutes came out at 2pm and offered no surprises. After the close yesterday NVDA reported a strong quarter and the stock is soaring, hopefully puts some wind in the markets sails today. That $400 handle on the SPY continues to be a key battleground area, would want to see a close above that today:

For the first time in a while I was a little aggressive yesterday. I added:

GNRC calls. Think the stock will rebound from its analyst induced sell off and head back to $140+ in the coming weeks:

Added more AI calls. This AI theme is not going away anytime soon and folks will continue to look for ways to make money on it... ie. AI stock:

EXAS calls. I added more calls on EXAS. The company reported a great Q and think this is headed to $70 and beyond in the coming days:

FVRR calls. Think this heads over $50 in the coming weeks. I may actually look to add some more strikes. ETSY reported earnings after the close yesterday that bested estimates and showed strong growth... only bodes well for FVRR:

And lastly, got back in EDIT. The company reported earnings, but more importantly, they updated their cash position... $437 million vs. the $657 million market cap. Think this trades north of $10 in the coming days and into the mid-teens:

U reported earnings after the close yesterday that missed estimates on the guidance side. The stock is selling off in the pre-market. Still like the name here but will not add anything today and wait for the stock to churn.

Still eyeing MASI for some calls but spreads make it tough.

And here is what I am watching today: YEXT, DKNG, MASI, EXAS, U, SMG, TWLO, TRIP, RBLX, SPOT, NFLX, AYX. CMG, ROKU, GILD, CDLX, SAM, IBM, SQ, ZYME, ICPT, ALGN, and GNRC.

Let's have a great day!
