It’s All Greek To Me

The Greek Crisis/ Drama/ Comedy, continues to astound.  Over the last six years the Greek Debt Crisis, according to the media, would have a negative outcome for U.S. stocks.  Yet the exact opposite has happened.

The Greek Drama is yet again front and center stage.  Will a Greek Default crush equity markets around the globe?  Financial stocks sure aren't trading like it.   Here is a run down of the Greek Crisis.  One thing is for certain... the Greek Crisis has been a boon for the financial media.

Tuesday Morning Reads 3/3/15

After a strong start to March 2015, stocks are down a little to open Tuesday's session.  If we've learned anything since the stock market hit its lows in March 2009, it's that every dip, in this centrally planned equity market, is a tremendous buying opportunity.  Yesterday, with stocks hitting fresh highs, the bond market sold off.  In the overnight session, as stock futures slowly pulled back,   the US Dollar index hit a new 11 year high.

Wednesday Morning Reads – 2/18/15

I decided to do some of tomorrow's work tonight..... that being said it is still February 17th late in the evening.  I'm going out on a limb here with "stock futures are mostly flat before the opening bell".  Of course if I'm wrong I can just delete this opening remark and change it to a more appropriate one... but I won't regardless.  Of course you would never know.  Anyway......

Earnings reports continue to come in this week.  Last night (tonight) $FOSL took it on the chin and its stock price will open trade sharply lower.  As the season begins to wind down I think the focus will shift back to crude oil, the US Dollar, and interest rates.  We can discuss that after the bell.  Let's get focused for today!
