While stocks rose on the fresh Ukraine cease-fire deal, what investors most want is clarity on the Greek debt talks. More chit-chat is slated for Monday, so now the markets have the weekend to stew about what ifs. Uncertainty is a killjoy for investors, and many are liable to not what to be leaning too far in one direction past Friday afternoon--and a 3-day weekend is coming for the US. S&P 500 futures are up 9 as gold edges higher. As for volatile crude, it's up 3% after Nymex futures yesterday had a 9th-straight session where the closing price was at least 2% from the prior days--the first such streak in 6 years. The euro rises to $1.1340 and the 10-year yield rises to 2.03%.

Another day, another Central Bank move has lifted stock futures higher. .. go figure. Greece negotiations will resume Monday, stock futures initially rallied on that news, but then fell, but not for long. The BOE is this morning's headliner with more, just buy it baby, type talk. Stock futures are now up .5% . Crude oil is recovering. It's been a nasty two day slide for crude, with some $19 puts on Monday going for over $1.00. The short term 'crash' I was looking for came to fruition. Looks like the Central Banks don't mind letting a few things fall.... which is nice.
Here is what I am reading this morning.
