January 10th, 2023 Watch List

Stocks closed mostly lower on Tuesday, with the S&P finishing the session down .15% in a choppy trade. Asia markets closed mixed overnight while Europe indexes are in the red this morning. U.S. futures are pointing to a flat open, the Dollar, Oil, and Gold are higher while Yields are lower.

And this is what UPB is reading this morning: https://www.optionmillionaires.com/morning-reads-385/

It was a choppy session on Tuesday, with stocks trying too reverse morning lows but failing to close in the green. Tomorrow is the big day with CPI data coming out and then the banks will kick off the Q4 earnings season. Too far too fast? I guess we will find out. Likely more chop here between $467.50 and $475 on the SPY. If CPI comes in higher than expected tomorrow, things could get dicey. Will likely not be too aggressive today adding positions into that data:

It was another great day for STAA on Tuesday, closing up another 7%. I used the move to close my $32.50 calls out for over 200% and over 300%. I also locked some of the $35s in for over 100%. The more I look at the chart, the more I think a move to $42.50 its coming. I may look to add some Feb strikes today:

It was also a strong day for VKTX, closing top over 10% and solidly in the $20s. The $25 highs from the summer look in play now. I used the move to lock more of my March strikes in for over 800%. If it holds green today, I may look to add more calls for the eventual move over $30:

As expected, ISRG gave pre-lim numbers after there close yesterday that bested estimates. The stock is gapping higher this morning near the $350 handle. The premiums on the call side seemed pricey so I passed on entering. May look at some spec calls today for a possible move to $360+ this week:

MASI also gave out pre-limn numbers this morning that bested estimates while raising their FY'24 EPS guidance. Waiting on the AAPL watch ban news as well. Think it is back over $120 and possibly higher. I may look at some Feb strikes today:

ROKU couldn't find buyers yesterday, closing down over 2% and right back near its 50dma. Still think $100s coming soon(and higher). May add more calls if it breaks Monday's $94.90 high:

ALT still holding the gains. One of these sessions will be a breakout one with that $15 handle coming first:

And lastly, GPCR rallied another 10% yesterday. Still eyeing for potential calls but will be patient:

And here is what I am watching today: VKTX, AGYS, GPCR, FVRR, YOU, ISRG, ROKU, MASI, SPOT, ALT, BIIB, GILD, AMLX, RDFN, ALGN, Z, AI, TRUP, ULTA, ISRG, RBLX, TGT, FVRR, AVAV, NFLX, EXAS, AAPL SQ, LRCX, LULU, LLY, NVO, TWLO, NOW, SITE, MELI, AVGO, and WIX.

Let's have a great day!
