April 22nd, 2014 WatchList

The S&P finished in the green for the fifth day in a row, and is in the midst of it’s longest daily winning streak in 6 months. There were some nice movers yesterday, to include Z and FB, the former of which is up again nicely pre-market. Netflix reported another strong Q yesterday afterhours, and announced a price hike for new subscribers. The stock is up big pre-market and its probably set to break over $400 in short order. The big news out is the VRX and Ackman deal buy AGN, which has put a bid into some of the biotechs.

I added IBM, AAPL, and SHLD calls yesterday and like SHLD to break and hold $40 today. I missed the entry on Z and will look for a pullback from a downgrade this morning for a possible entry today or in the coming days.

I will doing a Webinar at noon today on Pinchers for those that are interested: https://www.optionmillionaires.com/art-pincher-webinar-tuesday-april-22nd-12-noon/

Here are the analyst changes of note for today:

P Pandora shares should be bought into Q1 results, says Pacific Crest

Pacific Crest recommends using the recent pullback in Pandora as a buying opportunity, as the firm expects the company's monetization and gross margin to continue improving this year

NFLX Netflix price target raised to $520 from $500 at Pacific Crest

Pacific Crest increased its price target on Netflix after the company reported higher than expected Q1 EPS and announced a price increase. The firm thinks the company's margins can rise significantly as it accelerates its international expansion and exploits its latent pricing power. It thinks the company's growth is poised to accelerate, and recommends buying the stock

AMZN Amazon.com risk/reward compelling into Q1 results, says Deutsche Bank

Deutsche Bank views the recent sell-off in shares of Amazon.com as overdone and believes the risk/reward is compelling into the company's Q1 results. Deutsche expects Amazon to post a larger than normal beat versus consensus in Q1 and it keeps a Buy rating on the stock with a $475 price target

CELG Celgene weakness has created attractive entry point, says Stifel

Stifel expects the outcome of the Revlimid Markman hearing in July to help lift an overhang on Celgene, and the firm expects the company to have an overall strong presence at ASCO at the end of May. Stifel keeps a Buy rating on the stock

NFLX Netflix guidance, commentary positive, says Stifel

After Netflix provided higher than expected Q2 EPS guidance, Stifel is upbeat about the company's guidance and thinks Netflix's commentary about the outlook for the rest of 2014 was very positive. Given the price increase disclosed by Netflix, the firm expects the company's 2015 domestic streaming margin to surpass previous guidance, and Stifel does not expect demand for its service to be significantly affected. Stifel keeps a Buy rating on the shares

NDAQ NASDAQ upgraded to Outperform from Neutral at Credit Suisse

Credit Suisse upgraded NASDAQ due to valuation and said regulations appear manageable and leverage from technology solutions and operating leverage will drive earnings growth. Price target raised to $42 from $40

Z Zillow downgraded to Fair Value from Buy at CRT Capital

CRT Capital downgraded Zillow due to valuation
