Twitter ( $TWTR ) headed to Mars?

If you didn't like Twitter  before, how can you not like it now. Filings out this morning show Elon Musk now has a 9.2% stake in the company.

Twitter has been a poop-show since its IPO. I remember the early days when directors and management didn't even use the service. It has taken them years to try and figure out how to monetize their user base and they still haven't gotten it right. It has been such a frustrating name over the years - the huge potential is there. How can a platform that is pretty much given free advertising everywhere, not able to capture dollars.

Twitter is like the facade on an ugly building. Looks great on the outside but needs work on the inside.

Elon Musk's stake in Twitter is passive. Meaning he is not looking to push changes on Twitter, but one would have to think that will change. So if anything else, this move will put pressure on Twitter to make changes-  ie. stock will move higher from here.

If Musk adds to his stake or changes his stance to activist the stock rockets much higher.

In a nutshell : Musk stake means stock head higher.
